Dub City Bel Air project pics

Just wanted to share my latest Dub City adventure. I've completely disasembled my 56 bel air and I'm doing a whole list of goodies. Currently, I've installed suicide doors, chopped off the top, replaced the back seat with a custom speaker enclosure (the subs aren't in yet), and of course lowered it even further. Check it out.

Paint???

Did you take the paint off the model before you started to mod it?

Yep. I completely disasembled it, stripped the chrome trim, and pulled out the dremel to strip the paint. There is a little flap brush tool that worked real good. I finished it up with a steel wool attachement to smooth things out. Then I started the mods. Now I just have to figure out how to cut out the subwoofer holes in the aluminum enclosure.

Actually...the chassis has four sets of holes for each axle. You just put one side through the top hole and other side through the bottom hole, then do the opposite for the rear and wha la...three wheel motion. :smoker2:
