SSR Competition Questions

hi all,

maybe this post is directed towards luke...i emailed you last week, but i didn't realize how busy you are. yes, i should just call, but i can't call while i'm at work. anyways, here is my original email to you. as yuo can see, i have several questions...

hi luke,

i'm a TT.net member, and have been looking for wheels. done lots of searches, and you've been a valuable resource to the forum. i'm looking at 17x8.5 fronts, 17x9.5 rears, SSR Comps in Anthracite w/ the machined lip.

i have several questions...

1. should i go 9.5 width in the front? seems kinda wide to me, just thought it might be convenient to have all 4 wheels the same width, in terms of rotating my tires.

2. what tire size would you recommend? i was thinking 245/45/17's in the front, 275/40/17's rear. any known problems w/ HICAS? my goal is to NOT have to lower the car if possible. but what i don't want is the car to looked lifted or jacked, w/ the increase in wheel size.

3. do you have these wheels in stock? do they come w/ lugs? are the valvestems metal?

4. i'm thinking of getting Kumho Excsta Supra 712's, just because of the price. i'm on a budget i do city/highways driving. roads here aren't great, and it does rain here (philadelphia). i'm aggressive, but not a hardcore driver. am i making a mistake w/ these tires?

i'm attaching a pic which you posted on tt.net. these are 17in Comp's. do you know if the car has been lowered? do you remember what size tires you sold him?

any deals on these wheels/tires? now or in the near future?

thanks alot for any info, i know this email was long...

looking forward to doing business
