I was working on a corvette, and i just applied the primer. By accident, i touched the primer and left an ugly thumb print. Now i paniced, i sprayed a thick layer of primer over the body. It was sogging wet and dripping. I quickly turned on the hose(my work bench is in the garage) and sprayed the car. The drops of water left even uglier dents. I then went to the sink in the house and scrubbed the body over and over with detergent and water. Finally, i sanded it down so it would be decently smooth. I sprayed metallic blue over it, and it just appears bumpy.
Does anyone else have a similar situation? if so please post it.

lol dude if i were u that thing would have been smashed into a million peices alred.. yes ive had this problem, strip it.. everything and this time apply thin layers of primer, let sit somwhere without dust to dry and same for paint.. and let it dry for long
now if you mean orange peel then you can prob take somthing like 2500 sand paper, sand it down a bit and polish |
