Would you believe that!

Last night I was starting to paint my Fujimi itr rims, for my revell civic(jdm ctr conversion). I had just taken the cap off the paint(the small Tamiya jar 10Ml), and picked up a rim. Well, I dropped the rim, it bounced once on the table and landed right in the jar of paint! It was so bad. I had to pull it out with tweezers, and it had so much paint on it!... So, I decided not to do any more work on my car for the night.

On a good note, check this out....

That sucks big time! I also had a bad experience last night while modelling. I was finishing off the paint job for my revell porsche 911 gt1 and I was using a hair dryer to help cure the paint faster, but i guess the heat was on too high and I warped the rear body and the rear valance of the car!! But the good thing is I re-ordered the parts from revell and hopefully they'll be here soon

If I were you I would have quickly held the part under some running water and scrubbed it with a toothbrush, if that didn't work I'd also get some rubbing alcohol. Should have done the trick!

Yeah, I got the paint off, right away...but then decided, hmm maybe I should do em in gunmetal.

What do you think?

The Civic is off-white(like Championship White)
Should I paint the rims Gunmetal or White?
