how to get a scratch off a windshield

guys...i just bought this nissan s14 kit from fujimi brand new. when i opened the box to inspect the parts, i found that there was a long scratch across the windshield! the scratch isnt deep at all. i dont think i could return my model because i think the sales clerk wont belive me that the scratch was there before.

how would i be going on to fixing my windshield? guys please help me.
