anybody have IS400 info?
Hello again all, Does anyone have info on whether or not the IS400 will be released with a better 6 than the 215hp one we have already? I've heard rumors about an IS400 with around 250 or so hp and a six-speed trans. but haven't been able to confirm the info on the net. Anyone heard anything else? Thanks!

I've heard it before too, but I think it's only hearsay... I can imagine Lexus expandint he IS line, but I think a coupe is the next logical expansion, and an easy solution to IS owners desire for more power (turbo or supercharger via TRD).

It is not a rumor at all saw a show about it it is in the test phase. No word from Lexus int. if production is approoved or backed by the company at all. It was one of the coolest SEMA exhibits. Not sure what year.

i saw on Car and Driver TV today a section on SEMA...they had an IS300 with a V8 in it...the guy doing the reporting said that the V8 will be an option on furture IS300s...that's pretty cool to me...some where around 310 HP i think
