To buy or not to buy...
I was driving around in my 240SX when I spot a red squared shaped car out of the corner of my eye and I noticed it said TURBO on the wing.
It turned out to be a 200SX and it is for sale.The guy is asking $400 for it.I checked it out and it seems to run fine. I think the little CA18ET sounds meaner than my KA! Plus it's 5-speed. Should I get it or am I just being greedy?

I also noticed it wasn't intercooled and it had 8 plugs-2 per cylinder.
Anybody know how much power a 1985 CA18ET produces?

Oh I was thinkin 200sx as in FWD SE-R kinda 200sx. Forgot all about the S12.

if i were you, i'd pick that car up without thinkin twice. i can just about guarantee you will never find another turbo s12 in running condition for only $400. hell, you may never find one for under a grand. and since it's turbo, it has to be the hatchback, which is good cuz the coupe is as ugly as a 300-lb woman's ass. anyone remember the manana from GTA 3 and 4? kinda looks like that
 . anyway, the point is that the turbo s12 is a great car and this is an opportunity not to be missed. it won't have much power (somewhere around 130hp if im remembering correctly), but it's considerably lighter than your 240, and any engine swap for the 240 can be done to the s12 almost as easily. unfortunately, there are two drawbacks: 1. performance parts availability, 2. no room for FMIC with stock bumper, at least not without taking an acetylene torch to it, and even then im not sure. if you want s12 info, check out www.club-s12.org and www.200sx.org/index2.html. it's your choice, but I WOULD NOT PASS THIS UP! think about it

So these S12s in running condition are rare huh?
I drove by where it's at and the guy was working on it more.It needs a new front grill and hood.The body is pretty descent(SP?) and needs a new paint job.Other than that its pretty good. I was thinking maybe using it as a drift car I would have to see what's up.Seems like a really good deal... If Brian wants it,thats fine with me.I'll still have my 240sx  I also talked to some other guy who has a AE86 Corolla GTS coupe that he would sell only if I find him an ol'skool MR2 but that's a different story...

 Hmm...more mid range and top end power. Sounds good to me.:sun: With $400 I could afford 2 titanium connecting rods from the realnissan website*hooray*
