Surging through Acceleration !!

I recently replaced the head gasket, on my 88supra turbo.. Ever since the car surge's when boost comes in and hesitates between gears. I just replaced the nock sensors and wires, but that didnt work. I think we must have hooked something up improperly, or didnt hook something up at all .... Did the engine diagnostic check, and it came up with codes 32, and 24, however i know its not the mass airflow sensor cause i tried my buddies which works perfectly. Also i know its not a vaccum leak. Anybody have any ideas on what the problem can be ??
