Question T3 turbo on a 95 integra ls?

Would a T3 turbo work well on a 95 integra ls? If so could i run tons of boost or would i need to rebuild for alot of boost? Basicly i wanna run a mid 13 1/4 mile. What do ya'll suggest???

a T3 is a good size but if your looking for big boost the T3/T4 uses the T3 turbine to spool quickly and the T4 compressor for a higher airflow rating but to run over maby 6-8 psi you would need some engine work :bandit:

You can run as much boost as you'll need to get into the 13s on the T3. You will still get more lag on the T3/T4 because of the larger compressor housing. You will be able to run about 6-8PSI on your stock internals. After that you will have to build up the engine. I also would suggest an intercooler for going to boost levels above 10PSI, air to water is the best type, but air to air intercoolers are less expensive. I honestly think you will need to run more than 10PSI to get where you want.

The T3 is a great choice for you, or for anyone really. It is one of the best out there.

Polygon, i know the air to water cools better but ive been told they are not as reliable due to the additional radiator are related equipment, is this true?

Well, my stock intercooler in my 89 GTC was a air to water and it lasted until around 140,000 miles. It died due to a moron machanic that I took the car to. Who knows how long it would have lasted. I would expect a good aftermarket one to be far better than a stock one. So I would say they are just as reliable as the air to air.

The B18B1 is one of the best N/A engines to turbo. GSR engines run 8 PSI with stock 10:1 CR pistons. With the B18B1's 9.2:1 you can run 12 PSI of intercooled boost. The T3 will make up to atleast 15 PSI.
Anyway, running 12 PSI, with proper fuel management and tuning you can run atleast in the 13's. And when I say intercooler I'm talking air/air intercooler. Also, get a 3" straight pipe exhaust system. Depending on where you live, the emissions might require you to put on a catylitic converter, but the turbo counts as a muffler.
I should warn you though, do not run more than 14 PSI on the stock sleeves. The rods/pistons are good to 12 PSI like I said before the B18B1 is the best Honda engine to turbo from the factory.
The b18B1 is racer's choice!
