Passenger Air Bag Removal
Howdy all!
I have a 1997 Honda Civic DX with dual airbags. Removing the driver's bag was a snap, however I'm having a little trouble with the passenger side. Can anyone provide any information? Thanks in advance! Mike Wilbur |

remove the glove box and then there will be 4 10 mm nuts. Getting the bag out of the dash is the bitch, the cover snaps in to the dash and is difficult

Most of the stuff we do to our cars ends up being illegal so who cares. I took my passenger airbag out of my 95 civic but I was taking the whole dash out at the time. I dont think it'd be very easy if you tried it any other way.

if you get racing seats w/ harnesses is it still illegal, since at that point they wouldnt really do any good?
