will this fit????

does anyone kno if this carbon fiber hood will fit with a ZC engine????
it would help if i could kno cause i want to order this one if it will...thanks

My hood!!!

Hey that's my hood. I just got that hood on my car. I doubt it will clear your ZC though. It it barely clearing my D16.

yeah thats what i was thinking of but then again im goign to be gett and b16 or b18 in like two years and i would rather have that hood then the ZC hood but i guess i could sell it when i get the new engine that prolly what ill do.......thanks

you can make it fit, I got my ZC to fit without taking the cam cover off, When the engine was put it it was shimmed down on the drives side using some 1/8" washers, and it fit fine.

since the motor is not in your car yet... you can do the same thing.

i dont get where you would put the washers.........and how much lower would it make the cam cover cause that hood i think is lower then the stock one..........thanks

i would not put more than 2 because it may trought the axel angle out of whack, so far 1 has not caused a problem, the nice thing is if too low or causes problems you can teke em out.

you can do one washer and take the timing cover off, that should give you the space you need for it to fit.

that is just what i was think about a axels im not sure what im goign to do yet anyone out there have this hood with a ZC sawp???
