2001 Caravan obdII connector
We have an '01 Dodge Caravan. The Orange or Amber Engine light came on recently and I was going to check the codes. Mitchell online and the Chilton manual both talk about reading the codes with an OBDII code reader. So I look under the driver side of the dash where it says the connector should be and I see a bracket, but no connector. The only thing added to this vehicle was aftermarket door locks and a Remote Start.
Anybody have any ideas if some of the 2001's did not have OBDII? Thanks |

Re: 2001 Caravan obdII connector
I beleieve all vehicles since 96 are required to be obdII compliant. Have you tryed the jey dance to get codes??? on/off, on/off, on without starting engine within 5 seconds, codes may appear in the odometer.

Re:1996, I agree. I was able to get a code, regarding some transmission code via the "jey" dance. Is jey an acronym for something?
