interior

I just purchased a 525i Steptronic and the wood grain cover on center console has some light scratches.
1. Anyone know what to do remove scratches
2. How difficult is it to change this wood grain console cover.

Thanks in advance.

sand it down until the scratches aren't seen any more, but not too much because the wood is only 3 mm thick. Then apply a few coats of palyurethane "like on the wooden floors for the house" and buff and then presto, just like new!

I did not think it was real wood. When I took mine off it seemed to be made of some sort of resin or plastic.
