I am having an over heating problem because my radiator fan will NOT come on. I tested the fan it works fine. Yesterday I realized the harness that plugs into the fan is nto getting any power. Today, I just pulled the fuse from the fuse box (for the radiator fan) under the hood near the battery and tested for power with the multimeter. Not getting ANY power (key turned to ON (II) position). Pulled the hazard fuse and turned the switch for the hazards on and power is there!
Where do I check now? Is there something inside the fuse box that can be bad / not working? Maybe a disconnected wire? Thanks for any help!

well make sure your testing in the right spot, because usually the fuse is after the relay not before it, and if its after it, then u wont get power until hte relay like turns on or switches over to put power to the fan. u know what i mean ?
its like there a hot always up until the relay, then after the relay theres only power when the relay switches to turn the fan on, so at the fan and the fuse there shouldnt be any power. so i think its either your relay or your sensor thats broken. what i did was put my fan on a switch and when ever the car started to overheat, i just flipped the fan on. |

ADDED: Forget all that above! I just tested the 98 Civic the same way and it also gets NO power in the same situations. I'm going to hot wire the fan in and see if my oil level needs to be higher to get rid of the Code 22. If not, I'm probably going to take the car in to the dealer or a shop that works on imports. Too much $$ invested to mess around and screw this motor up.
