Painting my own ride...

This is my first post here on the forum so I'd like to say wuts up to everybody!

Anyway, my question is has anybody had any experience painting their own rides? My car got hit by a hail storm pretty bad but the cost totals out more than the car is worth to get it professionally done, and I wanted to try to do it myself. I have no experience painting but I have done a lot of research over the past few months, I was actually goning to try to paint it before the hail damnage, so I guess now it just gave me a reason. I was looking at some paint supplies on eBay and followed them to this website, sounds pretty easy and cheap compared to $2500+ for a new spray. Anyways heres the link: Trinity Paint Supplies. Anybody have an experience with that company? Or any suggestions for me?
