What to buy with 40$ at hlj.com

well my bdays comin up, and my mom said i could buy some stuff on hlj.com and im having a hard time chosing which models, which paints and supplies, etc. So basically what im wondering IS WHat YOU think is a great deal, and well worth it at hlj.com. It could be an amazing model, a great tool, or just a overall Necessity for modelling!

Did you consider the cost of shipping?


I myself would buy the Skyline 2000 GT-R. It's an old car that kinda looks like the datsun 510. For some reason, I LOVE that car. I'd also get an RX-7.

Your spoilt for choice on car kits, just get what takes your fancy and make it a tamiya.

Also consider;

Tamiya masking tape and/or rubbing compound, wax, putty - Its dead cheap and great stuff.

Studio 27 etched sets and decals - Maybe something to tie in with your choice of kit, eg A WRX with alt decals and grade up set, R34 with grade up, 350z with grade up, list goes on...

Sakatsu's or Modelers range of detail accessories eg shift levers, antena's, mesh hose or bonnet pins.

how bout a skyline with a sas body kit and sas wings??( think this all is over $40 tho)
