Taurus SHO VS. Integra GSR VS. Civic Hatch ZC

what do you guys think ? who would win. The SHO is a 93 manual and is stock with 150k on it. The GS-R is a 92 with a B16A (don't ask why the B17 was swapped out I DON'T KNOW !!!) Cold air Intake, DC Sports Headers, Exhaust, short shifter, and some other crap like NGK plugs, etc. and a 94 Civic Hatch with a ZC motor, Cold air intake, Prospeed muffler....that's it..... So who would win ? The guy with the SHO thinks his car is the fastest thing in the world. He actually tried to tell me that he could beat any Integra no matter what was done to it unless it was Turbo or Supercharged. I used to have a 91 SHO with some performance stuff and it was pretty fast but nothing too special. So what do you guys think ?

With my LS I could take a SHO until about 3/4's of the way down the 1/4 mile..... 4 of my friends have them and I always have about a car length until the end.... I would assume that a GSR has more top end then my car so it might be a good race....

if ur neck and neck till the very end in an LS then a gs-r would smoke em... 18 more horsepower plus vtec.. plus i heard that the 92 gs-r was the fastest gs-r ever made.. including the 3rd gen ones

Taurus in general are slow but SHO's are very fast cars. They have 220 HP Yamaha Motors and most are 5 spd. I used to have one a year ago and that thing pulled like crazy. I think my acura pulls a little more but still for a taurus that was a very fast car.

Tough one...

Mmmmm...
The 92-93 GS-R came stock with the B16A. Awesome engine, good chassis, good tranny... but pushing 160hp/115lb-ft of torque up against the 220hp/180lb-ft of torque taurus (yamaha) SHO? I'd wager that it'll come down to driving, but if the drivers were even, the SHO would probably pull away, though it might not happen till 3rd gear.

It's a shame that that incredible engine in the sho went into such a boring car, had it been in a smaller sportier car (along the lines of maybe a miata, but with 2+2 seating) it could have made for a rather exciting car. Depending on how far the race goes for would determine the victor, full 1/4 mile run would go to the sho, anything before that would be a coin toss

ok, well the ZC hatch is changin, now what do you think will win,

the SHO, the B16 GSR, or a 94 cx hatch with B20b, 10.5:1 pistons, LS 5 speed tranny, LS ECU, LS intake manifold, I/H/E.

ok you're trying to tell me that you beat one in your automatic honda accord ?? sorry i don't really believe that. Plus I used to own an SHO that was not stock and it was still not as fast as my integra is now. Also the stock 1/4 mile time for a 92 SHO 5 spd. is only 15.8. In my Integra I hit a best of 14.7 the first time at the track. Sorry but if we're talking about a stock SHO here I'll beat him an my car would rip your to shreds.
I like Accords and everything but they're not exactly fast. You can make them fast of course but considering that you have an automatic in yours I don't think yours is very fast.

You Guys Are Crazy

lol .. to read u people post this bullshit about ur integras smoking a sho ... keep dreaming... unless you have some mods... including a turbo or blower. or nos. your not going to win. you might hang till the end of 2nd gear.. in fact i know . ive have a 92 with 150 miles on it. i have prof plugs wires subframe mods drop springs mustang mass air flow sensor with ram air mod. about 235 hp i rip hondas everyday.... integra's civics whatever. lol heres an idea for u people. buy a car with more then 160hp. then mod it ....my sho runs a mid 14 if i put wet kit on it i would break 13 easy...they run tens supercharged... lol and my car has full interior. ill smoke ur integra with my ac on ....
