Length?
Alright so does anyone know if the Canadien civic is longer than the us model? I had my car broken into and when they replaced the passenger door window they asked if my car was us or canadien. I asked why and they said that the window on the can one is 1inch shorter and 1 inch longer. This may also be the reason that my side skirts don't fit. They are an inch too short and I got it from the us. anyone?

i think it may have something to do with the seatbelts in the doors for US models.
just a guess though

88/89 windows are different then 90/91 maybe thats what they are talkin about

sound like it to me, same thing here when i've had my door windows replaced twice they ask if its us or canadian.

Let me guess you have a 90-91 Civic. Because US 90-91 had door mounted seatbelts. No Canadian Civic ever had the door seat belts so the two 90-91 US and Canada windows would be different.

well mine has door mounted seatbelts and says made in canada or whatever but i know its not a true canadian hatch but when they asked me i told them canadian and it didnt turn out to be a conflict so maybe they arent different (windows)

your car was made in canada for use in the USA. his car was made in canada for use there. the canadian use civics, didnt ever come with seatbelts in the door.
