350Z vs. Mustang GT

Here's one for ya. For the same price, you can get a 2003 Nissan 350Z, or you could get a 2005 Ford Mustang GT V8. Which one is better? The Nissan is arguably build better and has heritage-inspired design with throaty high-revving V6, but the Mustang is newer, also has classic retro styling, but puts power to the rear wheels through a torquey, rumbling V8....

Which is a better bet and why?

The Stang has more power, more room, better sound, better ride quality, and identical fuel economy. So I say the GT

Not to mention the Mustang is likely to be $10K less than the 350Z, although it does look pretty bad-ass. The Nissan is a technical car, would make a great track project or the perfect backroad burner, but driving it every day the Mustang is, as puker said, a better choice.
