The man who builds Zc Blocks??? Agx struts? bushings?

Ok i have 2 Things to ask and talk about.

Awhile back i found a web site online of a guy who builds zc blocks. i remember reading you send in your origonal zc block and he sends you one of his thats built. now this is all the information i know on this. but i'm really unimpressed with the lack of power the Zc puts out. so im not waiting anylonger to work my ass off to get my plans done. anyone have any comments or links i could get to understand more about this.

Also my car is lowered on r1(ebay) Coilovers and the ride in unimaginably terrible. when i put on full acceleration i cant even control my car. this has been a problem for a very very very long time. i've seen AGX struts used alot on 4gs i've heard they are good for the price. can anyone relate to experience with these or any input. i've heard suspension bushings are nice as well. i've looked up prices(really have no idea what they do yet) and they are alot cheaper than struts. how much of a diffrence do they have on suspension. again any info is welcomed. thanks

I had some cheap quality ebay coilovers once. It turned out that they jack the spring rate up to like 500 lb/in or higher some times. This is what generally cause the horrible ride quality. When I put in my tokico blues it helped some for control but the ride quality was still horrible. The best you could probably do to seriously improve your ride is replace the cheap coilovers. Either with other coilovers (Skunk2, Ground Control, Tein...) or with springs (Neuspeed, HKS, Tokcio...). The spring rates are going to be softer between 200-450 lb/in which gives you better ride quallity and still great handling.

I have generic coilovers (www.truckn-store.com) and with the factory struts, the car would jump off the road with ever little crack in the road i hit. I put some KYB GR-2's on it,and now it rides 100x better. I know there are better struts out there, but for the money GR-2's are a good deal.

ZC's are more of a "tuner's" type engine, so going to a dyno is about the only thing you can do, to get the full performance out of them...

On my auto cross hatch I have koni yellows and energy suspension bushings. The bushings really made the car responsive and almost eleminated wheel hop, but they are a bitch to install.
