Exclamation 99 Durango Transmission Issues

I know there are a tons of tranny posts on here but I couldn't find one that was exactly like my issue. When cold tranny shifts fine through all gears. Once warm, tranny will not down shift all the way when stopped. Seems like I am taking off in 3rd gear. When slowing I can feel the tranny slipping. If i manually shift it down it will go down to 1st and 2nd gears. Could this be the speed sensor on the tranny or something totally different. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: 99 Durango Transmission Issues

Governor pressure sensor inside the pan needs to be changed. I ran across the same problem with my neighbors 99 Jeep GC and this took care of it.
