MTX are good amps (at least in my experience). 2 Channel is easier to set up (if yer doing it yourself...) but you won't get as much power. But if your bridge your amp and then hook the subs up in series u will get a lot more power. You have to watch out though for impedence(?)... search through this forum...

Actually you get the extra power from your amp by wiring your subs in parallel - it lowers the overall impedance the amp sees.

Wait, you can bridge a 2 channel amp to one channel, then run it to 2 subs, and get more power than if you just ran parallel, one channel per sub?! Cuz if thats true im gonna get out there and rewire em!

i am not a expert or nothing, but i know you can do it. You just have to watch out for certain variables. When you have a 2 channel going 2 channel its Parrell, and when it is 2 channel to 1 its called Briged.

go with this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=18797

JBL BP600.1, wire each subs coils in series for 2-4 ohm subs and wire them up in parralel for a 2 ohm load, the JBL amp is rated 600 watts RMSx1 @ 2ohms, but the 100.1 is rated at 1200x1 @ 2ohms and it was tested at 1411 watts RMSx1 @ 2 ohms in a mag, so im only guessing the 600.2 would put out about 650-700 wats RMS which is perfect for your subs and it is class D mono amp so more efficient than bridging a 2 channel amp.
