Not something I would recommend for drying models......the version of warm on a crock pot is a little warmer than a model likes to be....

Get a cheap dehydrator that will maintain around 110 and you will be set.

is it worth it...

after painting, how long should you wait, to wax/compound/touch if you use a food dehyrator, and how long should it be in the food dehytrador?

Target and WalMart have them for about $40.

One of the best investments I've made.

I just started using my dehydrator yesterday, and it works great. Took an hour to fully cure enamel clearcoat, which saves me a LOT of time.

You wait hours instead of days.
