Re: '10 AF DSM meet unofficial thread

Yea i would like to try and get one setup up again this year. I know last years didn't work out so well. Im thinking maybe we could find a central location so no one has super long drives to do. Im not so sure how the eclipse is going to like a road trip anyways

Looks like West Virginia is the middle area for us all so far that's if we consider Dave might be interested. and that's one heck of a drive.

Re: '10 AF DSM meet unofficial thread

I just wanted to throw it out there. I was looking through a couple old threads that Dustin posted in and just thought that there hasn't been any talk of if this year yet.

Re: '10 AF DSM meet unofficial thread

I've been a part of planning every year and it's been in short, a bust. Don't get me wrong... I ENJOYED going to SC and MN and meeting everyone like Jay, Dusty, Foti and others. Love every second of it. We had some great times. But the planning and effort that I put into them (MN and the chi-town) for no one to show up was just not worth it IMO.

I'll be going to SC again sometime this year on vacation and visiting Jay, going to Ohio to see Brian. He should be coming here too, but all for non-DSM related trips. I was actually considering going to the big DSM meet in Ohio in August though, the yearly one off Tuners. That seems like a lot of fun since it's a ton of people all about our cars.

If your serious about going, then I'm more likely to go. It would be cool to know someone from here at the OH show. I've been considering that one and the huge show in Carlisle, PA.

I told you we have to drink and party it up. I really plan on coming down there and getting wasted. Find some hos. But 100% I'm coming down, either flying or driving. We need to figure out a good date for this btw.

I'm pretty sure I'm going... at long as the car is working properly.

I'm just still debating if I want to take the GSX or the subbie? The only way I will take the GSX is if I get her tuned good enough not to worry about knock or complete engine failure. Also, I think if I go then so is the rest of the family...not sure how to get out of that one...

Re: '10 AF DSM meet unofficial thread

I'll only go if the Talon is perfect.

And there's nothing wrong with family. Nothing more imprtant than family. More power to you!

Re: '10 AF DSM meet unofficial thread

It's not necessarily the family thing...it's driving several ours in a possibly unrealiable DSM with a 3.5 and 5 year old. Not a lot of fun.
