1/24 Nismo 400R in Sonic Silver with some goodies

Hi all,

Been a modeler for more than 10 years since I was in high school(and when the first Gran Turismo came out on PSX), finally settled to take some pictures and setup some photobucket accounts.

Here is my share of work and definitely more will come in the future from time to time. I'm not a pro in modifying, but I do like to make small modifications to my models and make them unique. Hope you will like it and any comments including photography taking are welcomed

its one of the cars you win early on in Gran Turismo, i used the car exclusively till i switched to the Corvette GS

Yup, lownslow says it, I fell in love with the 400R since the first Gran Turismo. It was Nismo's flagship GTR at the time.

And Wolf, I'm a R33 GTR fan personally. I have more than 10 variations of R33 models(some are in progress) and I will definitely post them once they are ready.

I think everyone chose the 400r early on. Can't wait for GT5 late this year to come out. I also made this only in red.

Good job and welcome to AF. One thing i can critique on would be to clean up the resin parts better (sand/file). But overall its a nice job. Check out the tutorial section here.

Cool car, always wanted to try a SAS transkit too bad it closed down before I can afford a kit from them. How is the fitment of the transkit?

Seems like everyone besides me have started with a 400R in GT1. If I remember correctly the 400R needs to be won after getting all gold in one of the license tests. I was never good enough to do that and unfortunately had to start with a Del Sol. If GT5 comes out in Nov I might not wait for it since I will have zero gaming time during school and might buy an Xbox and Forza3 to play for the summer only.

Hey SilverRomeo, That Nismo 400R looks pretty good in silver. Being that I did one in red myself, I can say it was not an easy build and yours turned out really nice. You must have some other serious projects in the working. Welcome to AF.
