1997 E350 turn signal problems

My '97 e350 van has a problem with the turn signals, neither the turn signals or the hazard flashers work. I have checked all fuses and they are all good, The electronic flasher that I found below the fuse panel by the steering column was also replaced and I still get nothing. Everything on the multi-function switch works correctly except the turn signals and the hazards. Is it possible for just part of the switch to fail or do they usually just quit working completely?

Any help is appreciated, please give me your on this

Get a Haynes manual at your local parts place. It will have the wiring schematics for your headlights.

Sounds like a short in the tow package. The only other question is after the lights blink for a second and stop do they stay on or go out.
