question on painting bumpers
Hi guys i wanna paint those nasty black bumpers on my 91 civic... What the best way to go about doing this myself???

I asked the same question a while back but I wanted to go from ugly faded and peeling red paint to black and no one really knew how to.

well it all depends.....weather you want it done professionally or shitty.....
what I would do is to first sand the shit out of them so there is nothing on the bumper....And I mean nothing no chemicals no scratches no nothing...then I would clean it and sand it again...after that Primer it so it covers everything and after that paint it with some automotive paint.. Take you time when you prime paint and clear it...You don't want runs or light spots... I am sorry if this post does not make any sense it is 4 am right now
