I hope this doesnt come off as hatin or flamin, cuz thats not wat im goin for, I'm just curious. My question is why are you going thru all the trouble making ur own CAI when you can buy one for like $30 thats probably gonna be just as good? Is it just that you wanna build your own so you can say you've made ur own CAI and so you'll know how, or is it just that you dont wanna pay the $30? Once again, I'm not criticizing, just wondering.

and one more thing.. brew74, i applaud your mechanical genius at making ur own CAI. Im all about saving money.

my comment is this: you should've gotten bigger piping. it looks like you have a reducer going to your pipe instead of the other way around. in other words, your CAI looks to be pretty restrictive since its smaller than your throttle body
