Indent in the fuel tank of GP bikes
Hi
:o Maybe street bikes have this too, not sure, but I noticed an indentation on the top of the fuel tank of grandprix bikes, and was wondering what it was for. The only theory I can think of that it's there to allow the rider's head to be positioned even lower when riding down the straight. That is a total guess though. Can anyone clear this up for me?You can clearly see it under the Antena3 logo ![]() Alex

Ales,
you've got it!...so the chinbar of the helmet can be recessed into the tank for full-tuck on straights. hth, Bill :bandit: |
