PNWX early spring run

here are a few pics of schlud, wqbang, and i running some wet and snowy trails in eastern washington april 12-13.


schlud crossing a creek.



wqbang creeping in.



the mud in eastern washington gets a little sticky. thats my 32x11.5 mudder.


snow kept alot of goods trails closed.



heading back to town after a good run.

Manastash/Wenas area. We tried to make it to Tripod Flats, but were stopped by snow. It's very mazelike in that area, and at anytime you can get stopped by snow or a gate. In a few weeks it will be open and easy to navigate.

BTW, I want some of my tilt back (see original horizon in picture above). Mike took his picture from inside the truck pointing downhill and titled himself. That was starting to slide into the trail rut which was at door height. (no choice as the mud just look us for a ride anytiime it wasn't flat).

All of the roads we were on can be navigated using a Wenatchee NF map available at the any Wenatchee NF ranger station.

Check out www.nwjeepn.com for great washington trail descriptions and maps.

BTW Bryan, I've used most of my waypoints from that trip to figure about 5 trails. Do you have any you can send me to fill out some of the gaps?
