A/C Question

I'm not sure if you're talking about G1 or G2 neons, but my 2000 doesn't have a/c, or power anything...but I like it.

Mines a 97 base 4dr. it has power nothing, and only came with a am/fm radio. the thing doesnt even have a tape deck, yet it has cruise control!

It might depend on your geographical area...that is my guess. If you are in some place that has alot of highway and few small towns dotting the map here n there, my guess is almost anything in that area would have cruise control regardless of model (base, highline, etc.)

I have a 97 Sport, and it came with the power/lighting/bells n whistles group. However my radio had neither a CD or cassette in it. I was like WTF?? when I got it, but I ended up putting in my own CD player the next day after getting it anyways.

As far as AC goes, it is probably an option for those of you who live in milder climates where it doesn;t get to 523 degrees in the summer time. In AZ every new car, cheep or expensive automatically has AC, however it's still listed as an "option" but no one in their right mind would buy a car without AC unless you were planning on drag racing it and not using it as a daily driver.
