Can we have an Indy/F1 Comp?
I just opened up my Tamiya Ferrari f1 car, and I'm amazed. It's calling me to build it, so far I've spent 2 days on it and just gotten the body painted, now I've got to let it dry another day to sand/buff/shine it.
I was thinking, why don't I create an F1 Competition on the boards? I have some spare model kits kicking around, I can just throw one of those in for the prize if we have a good turnabout of entries. Or someone else can throw in a prize, or whatever works. I know if there was a deadline for me to finish my F1 car, it would push me that much harder to finish it, and finish it good. Anyways, take a moment to contemplate this idea and post your feedback! |

Mybe we should wait till 2004? Because at the moment the Integra competition is being held, the next one - Civic (organised by Tonioseven), and then it will be time for Warren's model of the year.

Best1Hobby have an 'open wheel' category in their comps. Unfortunately their next one which was for this month is cancelled so it gives u plenty of time to prepare for the next one. There may be other comps out there but i dont follow the F1 modeling scene.
