check washer fluid and check gauges light brightens with engine rev

I appologize, this is part of my previous post but wouldn't be seen by some because of the title.

The car quit yesterday and have been getting P0442 canister leak code. I later realized that when I rev the car I can see the check washer fluid and check gauges lights kind of brightening up. At idle they are both off, when I rev it I can see them both together getting brighter. Not like they are coming completely on, just like they are ghostly dim in the background.

I removed and cleaned the battery terminals, checked the alternator output stud, and checked the battery connection to the power center.

Any other suggestions of what to check? Ever since this engine was replaced the gauges have been whacky, my volt meter pulses with the brake pedal or turn signal, the oil pressure gauge is lower that I'm used to, and yesterday the dash started dinging every time we came to a stop sign. I did find a loose + terminal afterwards.
