Question Bushings etc

We have a 1997 Jimmy with a 4.3 auto with 142,000 miles on it.Also it is a 4wd 4dr.The body bushings are worn out.Performance Acc sells a 2" body lift thought if going to replace bushing lift it a little (wife's truck she likes the look). Has anyone done this to there Jimmy or Blazer? Next the front end lower balljoints and tie rods need replace. When searching for parts I found a company out of Canada on E-Bay (sorry don't have the name of company right now) that sells a total front end rebuild kit for $142.Has anyone seen this and/or use this?

Last ? have a coolant leak somewhere. Check everything found nothing no drips can smell coolant sometimes. It not in the oil.Any ideas anyone?

Thanks everyone

Re: Bushings etc

Body lift... you're on your own there. If it was a good idea, the factory would have made it an option.

If you're going to keep the vehicle, use Moog front end parts. That $142 stuff is fine if you enjoy replacing it every couple of months.

Coolant leak will require a pressure test to locate the leak...Intake manifold gaskets are very common, use the Felpro MS98002T new style gasket and it will not leak if installed properly and torqued correctly.

Re: Bushings etc

Thanks for feedback. We have had this truck for 7 years now and do plan on keeping a little while longer. The company I talked about is Arm-Can autoparts in Toronto.

Thanks again.
