99 Marquis: Where to place jack stands?

Yeah, I figured it out before I saw your reply-- THANKS, though!

I was lifting the rear-end to install "spring-lox" (coil spring compressors) to lower the back-end of the car-- It was riding too high, since I had the air suspension replaced w/ coil springs. I just jacked it ar the jack-point, then placed the stands under the rear axle,

I should've told y'all what my project was, in the first place.

Now that I've gotten the darn thing up on stands, I found that the springs are too high / the bolts that came w/ the compressors are too short, for me to get the nuts attached so, I guess I'll have to get comperable, but longer, bolts from the hardware store, tomorrow (as Advance Auto Pts didn't have any such thing)-- But that's for a different post (if at all) I suppose.

Re: 99 Marquis: Where to place jack stands?

Depends on what you are doing. I usually place the stands under the frame. You can move them to the outside of the jack(toward the rear on rear/front on front). This will give you a stable stance on the vehicle.
