Re: Steering Gear / Steering Rack Replacement
Looking for parts this weekend in the rockauto catalog I noticed that they now carry a replacement seal package for rebuilding the rack. Seems like a good price for $20.00 vs a replacement rack, but who knows. If you order from these guys have it shipped to a buisness address and you will save on shipping. (I have small parts like this shipped to work)
Krivasauto-- Don't know if you still have the old rack, or if you had to use that as a core. Maybe your interested in another tutorial? I think that blue/green stuff that you seen is maybe a seal or gasket? Anyway-- for those that might be interested.
