93 APV lost gages

Hello Everyone;
Here's a new headache that I hope someone if familiar with.
I pulled the Instrument Cluster in my 93 APV and replaced the bulb. I reinstalled the cluster and have now lost my oil pressure, gas and temperature gages. I took it apart again figuring that the flex circuit on the back of the cluster has miss aligned. The top of the flex circuit contacts are great but on the bottom the locating pin that keeps the circuit in place on the cluster had broken off. I measured the top diameter of the pin and then made a new one. Used a dermal tool to drill out the old pin and inserted the new one. It looks as though it has never been touched and appearance wise the circuit looks to be in the proper location. I cleaned the contacts with contact cleaner and reassembled and still no gages, only the speedometer works. I believe that this miss alignment is causing the cluster to lose its ground. Before searching for a new cluster I'd like to know from you folks if you think it would be feasible to solder a jumper on one of the ground paths of the flex circuit to re-establish ground?
Thank you

IN case this might be of some help ...

Ground is D8,C7,C8....hence several chances to have a ground ....that does not seem to explain why only the speedo would work...

Re: 93 APV lost gages

Thanks for the information, I took it apart and was about to do some soldering and I found a hair wide crack in the flex circuit. I looked and looked before and didn't see it. I pealed the plastic back with a razor blade and put a 1/4 inch jumper on it. It's back to normal now.
Thanks again for the information.
