Fuel Filter Location

Where is the fuel filter on my 99 Regal (non supercharged)? I'm going to replace it this weekend and need to know how much work I can expect.

Re: Fuel Filter Location

On the drivers side of the car underneath the area of the passenger door. Can't miss it and easy to replace. You need a wrench for the output side of the filter. The input side clips in or out. Two or three plastic retainers you push in on to remove from the fuel line.

You can bleed off fuel pressure at the Schrader valve at the front fuel injector rail or by pulling the fuel pump fuse while engine is running.
