Caliper Bolts Question

What do you guys use on your caliper bolts (the ones that screw into the rubber boots on the caliper) when you screw them back in? Do yall use grease? Any suggestions are welcome.

Re: Caliper Bolts Question

I've used bearing grease and I've used white grease. Never had a problem with either. I did find that the bearing grease stood up to heat better than the white grease. I applied the grease after cleaning up the bolts first with a degreaser.

Re: Caliper Bolts Question

Yes, they sell special grease for the very high temps that calipers generally see.
