Re: drifted ae86

thats awesome man, i love the damage, looks authentic. Turbo looks great, thats the same exact method i use for making my scratch-built turbos. What size solder are you usnig there? looks to be about .1xx inches in diameter?

Re: drifted ae86

Re: drifted ae86

I like it! It's nice to see a drift car that looks like it's actually been used well.

Re: drifted ae86

That damage looks so real. It's not uncommon that drifters get a little worn in battle. That looks like a practice car for someone who's going to race in a drift series. But OMG that turbo looks big and the engine is so small. But all in all nice job! Keep it comming!

Re: drifted ae86

thanks guys! yea the turbo is a little big, im gonna re make it when i can get a chance to get some smaller solder.

the rust technique is actually pretty easy, this is where i got it from http://www.scalemodelguide.com/guide...lt-weathering/

the hood will be flat black and im thinking of doing the opposite fender a light blue, do you guys think that would be too much??

also anyone have good tips to help e with the dirtying up of this beast?? thanks!
