200 windstar se trans problem need help

I have 2000 windstar that has reverse but no drive or low.What could cause this,stopped at walmart and when i came back out to leave I had no drive or low only reverse.

Whens the last time you checked the fluid level? When is the last time fluid was changed? Is there any warning lamps on? More info is needed.

As mentioned fluid.

Also, servos and clutches in the transmission could have failed.

I had the same problem with the transmission with reverse only. Ford replaced it under warranty. Otherwise I have to pay $3,600 for the repair. This is a well known transmission problem for Ford Windstar. You can find out in the government's website.
