Automatic transaxle removal (4T65E)

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get out the back bolt of the transaxle assembly. The illustration that is in the manual shows a bolt that is coming from the back side going into the transaxle. I removed the outer bolts with no issues but I can't find this other bolt. I hope someone in the forum has removed the 4T65E transmission out of the intrigue. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I helped my son remove the engine from his Intrigue and I know he had to do it from the right side using every long extension he could get to remove that bolt. When the engine went back in that bolt didn't make it back.

So, for the folks asking on this and other forums, were you able to pull just the transmission? Did you go out the top? Anything you learn along the way that you would like to pass on?

I changed the transmission on my car they are a lot of details that I can tell you but this is in short. Engine and transmission was pulled from the top and was successfull hood off too, I highly recommend that the radiator and ac condensor is out also because you need to clear to brake booster/master cylinder the LX5 is big.

I did it the same way, only left the condensor in but dropped the subframe. If there is a next time, I will try doing it by pulling the mounts off the engine and transmission once I have it lifted part way.
