More sagging rear ends

Hey Yallz, I just bought my 87 cherokee aand Ive noticed that my rear appears to be sagging a bit, I cant tell if the appearence of the sag is due to worn out old springs or the fact that the back has 235 75 15 tires and the front has 225 75 15 or a combo. My question is has anyone recently put new stock leaf springs on the rear and when its sitting how much of a curve is there. My old leaf springs are nearly flat , not much if any bow to them. Any perceptive thoughts on the subject would bee nice to hear. I think I will buy new springs anyway and even out the ride by geting new larger tires all around. DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!!!!!!

This happens with lots of XJ's after a while, the rear springs simply get a bit worn-out and sag.
Lots of owners install new spring packs.
But, an easier remedy is to add a leaf.
If you look in your Yellow pages, you shoudl find some auto/truck spring shops. They mostly work on leaf springs for highway trucks, tractors and trailers.
They can either recurve your existing springs and/or add an additional leaf to the existing pack. A good shop should be able to tailor both the ride height and firmness that you want.
I had this done to the rear of my XJ about 10 years ago for $75. It's perfect now, and the sag has not reappeared in 10 years time.

Rat's right...but don't go for the re-arc without the additional leaf, the old springs will flatten out quickly. Make sure to get the additional leaf in there, you'll be surprised how nice it will be.
