tachometer?

I have a 1997 Blazer LS without a tachometer on the instrument cluster.
If I swapped an instrument cluster with a tachometer, would it work?

thanks

Yes.

I got a cluster from a '96 at a salvage yard ( only '95 to '97 clusters will work in a '97)

I'll look and see if I can find the write-up I did on mine. I swapped the odometer on the two units so I would retain actual milage.

Edit;
Here's the link.

Re: tachometer?

Oh sweet!

I must say, it really is an empty feeling driving
without a tachometer. I'm going to the boneyard
to pull one out today. Thanks for the reply!
