95 Camaro Problems

I drove the car one day and parked it, came out later on to start it and all i got was clicking like the battery was dead. Tried jump starting it and another battery. Nothing. then it finally cranked over and started. Drove it home and turned it off, it started fine a couple more times after that. Drove it again and parked it, came back out later and the same thing happened but it will not even click now. Ive taken the starter off and got advance auto to test it, it passed. Battery is charged. When i turn the key nothing happens. The radio and all dash lights/head lights work fine. Any ideas??

Re: 95 Camaro Problems

sounds like a bad battery cable, i have seen them break inside the termanal where they hook up to the battery, you could chop them off and replace with after market termanals

YEs, go over your battery cables, make sure they are clean and tight, no breaks, cracks or hard spots.

If that checks out, for the giggles of it try starting in neutral.

Re: 95 Camaro Problems

I still haven't figured it out, i got it to where the starter would click again (like the battery was dead) so i replaced the starter and it just clicked some more. Now it wont even click. Ive tested and even replaced the battery. Its really got me confused..
