Re: Positive Battery cable

you can pick up the battery cable from most auto parts stores, pep boys, rockauto, advanced, etc.
to replace it depends if you have a SOHC or DOHC.
for the most part, it is very similar for either engine.
DOHC only has 2 connections, 1 to the fuse box & the other to the starter.
SOHC has 4, 2 to the alternator, 1 to fuse box & 1 to starter.
the way you install it is the reverse of the way you remove it.

Re: Positive Battery cable

Its been awhile since I've been under the hood of my car but I am 99.99999999% sure I have two wires for the positive cable. One small gauge to the alt fusible link in the fuse box and one to the starter. Other than that I have one going for my amp. I would remember two more if they were there. And yes my car is a SOHC.

Re: Positive Battery cable

stealthee is right, i misread the diagram, there are 2 coming off the battery. a white to the fuse box and black-red to starter.
