Exclamation 2005 chev silverado front bumper

Any one out there have the same problem as me.. keep ripping the plastic front valence off of the front bumper? if you back out of any mud or snow it rips it off now that i can only wire it up. Its gonna cost me over 1000 bucks to fix it right, with the chance of it meeting the same fate again. does anyone have an idea for a solution without buying the stock piece for it? Any custom solution that anyone has tried? (Other than a big ugly brush guard?)

Thanks

You could try to have the bottom edge trimmed a little to raise it a bit. Or you could go with some nice stainless steel bolts to hold it on and cover them with a trim piece. Not exactly smooth-looking, but those covers are just fricton held into place with tabs I think...made to pop off when they get snagged.

Or don't try to park so close to a snow mound....if the ass-end sticks out a bit so what?

in the owners manual it states remove this valence when off roading...when driving into large snow banks this will get damaged...

if you have the GM plastic shields [skid plate] these also will be destroyed..toyota uses steel ..
