I'm looking at getting some rims and I need to know if these would fit a stock GTP without needing to change or modify anything:
Rim Diameter: 18" Rim Width: 7.5 Bolt Pattern: 5x115 or 5x112 (I'm pretty sure 5x115 will fit my car) Offset: 42 Then I was planning on getting 245/45/18 100W tires. Thanks for the help.

Re: Would these fit?
It should work providing you use only 5X115mm or 5X114.3mm but many aftermarket wheels have multiple bolt patterns. Wheel offset looks about right too.
Tire size is good too. Good luck!

Re: Would these fit?
Thanks for the reply Bob. I really like these.
Question: Why would a 5x115 OR 5x114.3 work? Is it just such a small difference between the two that the studs are still able to make it in the lug holes, they just aren't perfectly centered with a 5x114.3? I was surprised at how few 5x115 rims there are out there compared to some of the other sizes. I attached a pic of the ones I'm thinking of getting. I know you aren't a fan of the multiple lug holes, but it doesn't really bother me. I think these would compliment the car quite well because they are 5-spoked like the factory rims.

Re: Would these fit?
Have you looked at the Eagle Alloy 077's? A set of 18" chrome EA 077's would look sick.

......THESE would look sick, Tim. THESE ones. Those are nice though. Couldn't find any for sale anywhere. And if they are cheaper than the ones I am getting I am going to be pissed. I wasn't totally at ease with getting rims right now, but Tiffany really wanted them so what do you do? Keep the lady happy, that's what! I did want them as well, but probably would've guilted myself out of it because it's not a "need."

Re: Would these fit?
Not that I don't like universal fit wheels but there is an issue with getting the right lug nuts and then the right tools to remove the lug nuts in case of a tire issue like a flat. Standard tire lug wrenches may not fit or work.
The 5X114.3 bolt pattern is the Ford Mustang bolt pattern which there is a better availability of. I know GP owners that use that pattern/size and it fits believe it or not. ![]()

Re: Would these fit?
Yeah, the seller says tuner lugs are required for those rims. That's fine with me since I have tuners on right now.

I called the rim place up and found out they don't even have the ones I ordered and won't for another month! To try and make it right, they said I can have my pick of pretty much any other rims they had - even more expensive ones. The downside is that they don't have a huge selection and two, they don't have any more that are 5x115's. I know that 5x114.3's will technically fit, but I believe this will put added stress on the wheel studs and possibly the hub/bearing. The rim place said they would send me free hub centric balancers (or something like that) for free, but I have no clue what those are. So what do you guys think? Safety and unnecessary wear are my main concerns here. Should I stick with 5x115's or is the diff between the two so microscopic that it really won't make much of or any difference with the 5x114.3's?

Re: Would these fit?
I know of people running 114.3's for a while with no issues. Keep in mind 114.3 is only .7MM away from 115, less than 1mm off, so that is why they fit.
If I were you, I would be sort of ticked that they sent 17's. I'd probably hold off for them to get you the ones you want. Plus give you a discount for effing up the order without even so much as a phone call.

Re: Would these fit?
That's actually exactly what I'm thinking of doing. None of their other ones really grab me. It just sucks that I'll have to wait another month. I'll call them and see what they say.

Re: Would these fit?
Ha! So I told this seller that I wanted a refund and that I'd consider repurchasing their rims once they actually had them to sell (because they were the cheapest I could find.......UNTIL TODAY! HA!) So they refunded me and I found another place to buy them from and it saved me $90! Finally a stroke of good luck with this stupid car! lol

Re: Would these fit?
Yeah they look great. I've always been partial to factory rims though (too many bad stories about aftermarket rims bending) but the factory GTP rims look boring so I switched mine to 2007 Pontiac G6 GTP rims (currently looking for a place to powder coat them, the grey just isn't doing it for me)
How much did your tires cost? What tire manufacturer/model? Are they noisy? That's the biggest consideration I make when upgrading. I almost purchased 19s until I looked at the cost of tires and how hard they are to find. Where did you get the bumper? |

![]() I got Falken Ziex 245/45/18 tires mounted, stemmed, balanced, warrantied, rotates, balances and an alignment for just under $600. I did a lot of shopping and that was the best deal I could find. You're right though, going from 16" tires to 18" is pricey compared. The drive home wasn't noisy at all and I couldn't tell a difference in driving really. I made sure to get 5x115 bolt on the wheels because I didn't want to take the risk with 5x114.3's. Yeah, 19's are a joke. Extremely rare and therefore extremely expensive . It was actually pretty tough to find 18" 5x115's as well. The bumper I did myself to the stock bumper.
