Problem with Mitsubishi Lancer 680hp Any Ideas?

First I have a 2008 Mistubishi Lancer, front wheel drive, with a 1600cc engine (normal engine).

Here is my problem: I bought a Mistubishi Lancer Evo 7 engine and I tuned it up. I put these things into my engine to tune it up: HKS muffler, HKS front pipe, HKS cat pipe HKS stainless manifold, HKS intercooler pipe kit, HKS blow valve, Trust radiator, ARC radiator hose, Okada fire plasma X2, Ralliart spark plugs, Trust super race spark plugs, Trust breathe tank, Trust oil catcher, Sard Denson 800 cc injector, Blitz super air flow filter, Blitz super fan X2, Tomei Poncam camshafts, Tomei camadjusts, Trust cmadjust belt, Evo 9 Mivic TD05 Turbo, Sard fuel pressure regulator, Sard gasoline pump 265ML, Computer Set, HKS EVC boost control, HKS oil super race, Ralliart front suspension, Split Fire ground kit for Lancer Evo 7, Hotearth meter engine cover kit, Ralliart engine mounting, Cusco Bar Kit down under the engine, and an oil cooler kit.

After tuning up the engine I put it inside my car. As you know this engine is four-wheel drive and my car is front wheel drive, so I am trying to make this engine front-wheel drive. I really don't know what to do to make it front-wheel drive. I talked with one guy and he did the same thing that I am trying to do (he put a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5 engine in a Mitsubishi Mirage) and he told me that he opened the front gearbox and he stopped the movement to the back wheel. He welded the area the sends movement to the back together and he says his car is front wheel now. His solution is one that I have heard. Another solution I was thinking of is: I found a 1999 car called Mitsubishi RVR and this car has the same engine as Mitsubishi Evo 7 (4G63), but this car does not have a turbo and the transmission is front-wheel drive manual. I tried to call Mitsubishi Company in Japan to ask them if I could change the transmission of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 7, but they were reluctant to give me an answer. I know this is a really crazy idea because the best thing about Mitsubishi Lancer Evo is that it's four-wheel drive. I really need someone's help and advice. I need to know what is the best way to make my car front wheel drive. This is an emergency for me. Pull the driveshaft and install a VCE...if I understood that correctly.

Engines are not FWD or AWD, drivetrains are.

not sure what the 680hp is all about either.

Or get a driveshaft, cut it off, make a beefy bracket onto it and find a way to bolt it to the car so the driveshaft WILL NOT turn.

maybe im totally missing the point, but why would you do that? I mean its cool and unique but your car would perform better as an awd or rwd.


I tried to find a pic of the underside of an evo VII for us to all work off of to help you out but I couldnt find one. I'd just try disconnecting the drive shaft going to the rear of the vehicle. You'd also have to do somthing to the computer because itll keep trying to send power to the non-existant rear wheels
