Exhaust panel
Hi,
I would like to put exhaust panels / inserts on the body where the exhaust pipes exit. Does anybody make these or does someone have a pair for sale? GT-RA Thanks, Bob |

Re: Exhaust panel
Bob,
As far as I know they are all individually fabricated to fit the exhaust pipe exit locations which vary from car to car. I just used a file folder to make templates, cut some sheet aluminum (used an electric nipper, but a jig saw would be fine as well) and pop riveted them on. Took an hour or so. Mike |

Re: Exhaust panel
Yup, that's how I made mine as well. I had some stainless steel laying around so I used that instead of aluminum. I used a 3" dia. Greely punch for the hole that the
exhaust pipe to sticks through. But you can do this just as easily with a jig saw.
